You’re not alone

Maybe this is the missing piece that would finally make life make sense.

Maybe your physician asked you to get assessed. Maybe you’ve read about ADHD and felt like someone was describing your life. Or maybe you’ve spent years wondering why things that seem easy for everyone else feel so hard for you.

ADHD is a real diagnosis. It goes underdiagnosed in girls and women, and it’s often missed in people who function well overall. But having a brain wired like the ADHD brain affects everything — not just focus, but follow-through, life decisions, making friends, and reading social cues, just to name a few.

Again: you’re not alone, and we can help.

Questions

Good to know

Who is this assessment for?

Children, teens, and adults ages 8 and up who wonder whether ADHD may be part of their story — including people whose physician or school has requested an assessment.

How long does it take?

You’ll complete the assessment tools at home before you meet, then have one in-person diagnostic interview with Sarah (about an hour). You’ll receive your written results within one week of your interview.

Where does it happen?

The diagnostic interview is in person at True Hope Counseling, 2605 Southwest Square, Jonesboro, AR 72401. The assessment tools are completed on your own beforehand.

Does it include a prescription for medication?

No. Sarah is a therapist, not a prescriber. Your results report includes recommendations for follow-up, and your letter gives your physician or psychiatrist what they need to consider medication if appropriate.

Can this be used for school accommodations?

Yes. Your results letter can serve as a referral for educational testing and support planning, such as an IEP or 504 plan. Bring it to your child’s school counselor or special education coordinator.

Can I use my insurance?

We can’t bill insurance directly for this specialized service. You’ll receive a receipt and description of services you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

You matter. We can help.

No more waiting weeks or months for answers. Contact Sarah today — availability is limited due to her full clinical practice at True Hope.
