Meet Your Therapist
At True Hope Counseling, you have the choice of several different therapists.

All of our therapists are highly-skilled, caring, and experienced with a wide variety of issues and populations.
Each of our therapists sets her own schedule and most have flexible hours. If you are needing a particular time slot or day, please include this when contacting your therapist.
Since each therapist keeps a small caseload and is not weighed down by top-heavy bureaucracy, we are able to provide individualized, confidential services to ALL of our clients.
Once you decide that a particular therapist is right for you, contact her through email or phone to get things rolling.

Whether you are a stressed-out, worried-sick parent looking for relief for your child or an adult needing some help with feeling not so stressed, not so hopeless, not so blah, I can help.
While I don’t have a magic wand to make all your problems go poof, I can help make your life better.
While I will always, always have your back, I don’t have any agenda other than getting you where you want to be. Not so with everyone else in your life. Whether it be your husband, mother, or even friend, they all have ideas about what your life should look like.

Taking the first step to say “I need help” is difficult, no matter who you are. It can be especially challenging when you realize that your child (and your family) needs to get better.
For almost 20 years, I’ve been working with children and families to make their everyday lives better.
No more fighting about school, homework, worrying about meeting with teachers, wondering how your child is going to make it through the day, much less the school year.

Not only do I help individuals live their best life, but I also have extra training to help couples struggling to stay in a relationship.
However, even the most stressful situations can be defeated. Let’s work together to gain control over the stress.
When you work with me, we’ll develop specific, concrete strategies to make your life one that you WANT to live.
Over my many years as a therapist, I have worked with many different types of clients, but specialize in older adolescents and adults.

You’ve landed here for a reason. Maybe it’s that you need a safe place to talk…to just get help with all the overwhelming feelings in your life right now. Or, maybe you’re feeling some depression, anxiety, struggles with parenting, or just with being an adult in today’s world.
Good news – you can now rest easy because you’re in the right place. Providing safety and security as well as a judgment-free space is EXACTLY what I do for all of my clients. Through working together, you’ll experience HOPE. Making the decision to take that first step is the hardest part of the journey

Is your child anxious, easily angered, or struggles to focus at school?
Maybe your child has difficulties with friends, everyday emotions and seems to not express emotions in a healthy way?
Please rest easy. You’re in the right place. So many children have similar difficulties and it’s extremely frustrating as a caregiver when you just don’t know how to help.
Because children’s brains are developmentally wired differently, they don’t often express emotions easily with words.

LCSW, RIST, ADHD-CCSP
Do you feel like you’re working twice as hard as everyone else just to keep up?
Maybe focus slips away when you sit down to start a task, your to-do list never seems to get shorter, or you’re constantly overwhelmed by responsibilities and expectations. I work with children (10+), teens, and adults navigating ADHD, executive functioning challenges, anxiety, and overwhelm. Together, we identify practical strategies that work with your brain—not against it—while addressing the stress, self-criticism, and frustration that often accompany these challenges.
As an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider, I specialize in ADHD and executive functioning challenges while also supporting clients experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief/loss, women's issues, chronic illness/pain, and stress. My approach is collaborative and strength-based, using evidence-based therapies tailored to each client.
If you're ready for things to feel more manageable, support is available. I strive to create a supportive, judgment-free space where you feel understood and empowered to make meaningful, lasting change. My goal is to help you feel more confident, capable, and in control of your daily life.
